The terrorist group the PKK had come to realize that the pursuit of their campaign of terror would not achieve anything, Erdogan said when in the southern city of Antalya.

“You have come to the end of the road. Give up this wrong track before you cause more sorrows for your families,” he said.

There was no question that Turkey’ would prevail in the fight against terrorism, the Prime Minister said.

The PKK had been isolated, and its logistic and financial resources had dried up as a result of the political, diplomatic and socio-cultural measures taken by the Turkish government, Erdogan said.

Erdogan said Turkey’s fight against terrorism would absolutely succeed.

Earlier Sunday, Erdogan said that the country’s security forces would continue to combat terrorism until it was eradicated and until the terrorists laid down their arms.
“Our fight against terrorism continue from the air and land, and we will continue our fight in line with the intelligence we acquired until terrorism is eradicated and until terrorists laid down their arms,” Erdogan said while in the north eastern province of Rize.

The Turkish armed forces launched a series of air and artillery strikes inside northern Iraq over the weekend, hitting at bases of the PKK in response to an attack on a military outpost in the south eastern province of Hakkari late Friday night.

Six soldiers were killed in the attack on the post, with 19 members of the PKK also reported killed.
