Galatasaray’s coach to stand down at the end of the season

Feldkamp had coached Galatasaray in the 1992-93 season and cross town rival Besiktas in 1999, before returning to Cim Bom in June last year.

İSTANBUL - Galatasaray’s German coach Karl-Heinze Feldkamp announced Wednesday he will be standing down as the Istanbul side’s technical director at the end of this season.

The 73 year old Feldkamp, who has missed a number of matches this season due to ill health, made his announcement at a press conference in Istanbul.

Hough planning to stand down, Feldkamp said that club president Adnan Polat had designated him to choose both the team’s squad for next season and to nominate a replacement coach.
