Daylight saving to start in Turkey on March 30

Turkey’s cabinet is considering a proposal to extend daylight saving time to all year round.

ANKARA - Daylight savings time will resume in Turkey, with the country’s clocks being put forward one hour at 3:00 am on March 30

However, no date has yet been set as to when summer time will end. Though clocks are normally put back one hour on the last weekend of October, the cabinet has yet to announce when daylight saving will end this year.

This is due to a proposal currently being considered by the cabinet on whether Turkey should adopt daylight savings time all year round.
