The EU had earlier announced a package to help support improvements in the Turkish Cypriot state, in part as a response to the TRNC voting in favour of the reunification of the two states on the island.
However, some of the measures backed by the EU, including allowing Turkish Cypriot goods to be exported, have been blocked by the Greek Cypriot side.
