Moderate quakes rattle south western Turkey
Neither of the two quakes, which were seven and a half hours apart, caused any casualties.
August 4— The south western Turkish province of Mugla was shaken by two moderate earthquakes on Tuesday, though there were no immediate reports of major damage or casualties.

  The first quake, which struck at 8:33 am, registered 4.3 on the Richter Scale and had its epicentre in the resort town of Bodrum. The second tremblor was at 4:11 pm and peaked at 5.0 on the scale of magnitude. The second quake had its epicentre in the Gokova Gulf in the Aegean Sea, according to the Kandilli seismological institute.
