US experts examining missile that fell in Turkey
The American military personnel were the subject of a protest by villagers when they arrived at the site of the missile crash.
March 25— A team of US military experts are studying the remains of a Tomahawk cruise missile that malfunctioned and crashed in the south eastern province of Şanlıurfa on the weekend.

  The 15 strong team, sent from the joint US-UK-Turkish airbase of İncirlik, arrived at the site of the crash, the village of Ayaklı, on Monday to collect the remnants of the missile and take it back to their base.
       While the US personnel were studying the crash site, local villagers staged a protest against the war and the landing of the missile on their lands. The demonstration later ended without incident.
